Extra stadium info – Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades

The construction of the stadium, which is also known as a venue for rugby union, started in 2018. A statue of the world famous Argentine football legend Diego Armando Maradona can be found next to the stadium. The Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades opened with a football match between Racing Club and River Plate. Rafael Santos Borré Maury scored the first goal of the game. Racing Club lost the match against Club Atlético River Plate.
