Plans for a new stadium in the city of Zagreb have been confirmed by the president of the Croatian football association. The president hopes to have a brand new football venue in the next two years, but those plans seem to be overly optimistic. Older plans for a new 50,000-capacity stadium in Zagreb never became a reality. Dinamo Zagreb, the most successful Croatian football club, will probably play their home games at the stadium if it will be built.
