The construction of the venue started in 2018 and its construction costs were $250 million. The TQL Stadium opened as one of the largest sports venues by capacity in Ohio. FC Cincinnati, also known as Orange and Blue, use the venue for home games. They played their first-ever Major League Soccer match in March 2019. FC Cincinnati drew an average home attendance of 27,000 in their inaugural MLS season.
