The Vegas Golden Knights use the T-Mobile Arena for their home games. The National Hockey League club was founded in 2017. The Golden Knights played their first-ever NHL home game on 10 October 2017. They won the game against the Arizona Coyotes. In 2018, the Vegas Golden Knights played in the finals of the Stanley Cup for the first time in their history. They faced the Washington Capitals in the championship series of the National Hockey League. The Capitals won the championship series after winning four of the five games in the series.

In 2023, the Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup for the first time in their history. They won the title after beating the Florida Panthers. In 2023, the finals of the Stanley Cup consisted of five matches. The Vegas Golden Knights won four of those five matches. On 3 June 2023, the first of those five matches took place at the T-Mobile Arena. The Vegas Golden Knights won the game 5-2 in front of 18,000 fans. Two days later, the T-Mobile Arena hosted another game for the championship round of the National Hockey League. The Golden Knights won the match 7-2. On 13 June 2023, the T-Mobile Arena hosted a match for the finals of the NHL again. The Vegas Golden Knights won the game after defeating the Florida Panthers 9-3.
