The Doak S. Campbell Stadium, nicknamed The House That Bobby Built, is named after a former president of the Florida State University. It opened with a capacity of 15,000. The venue became one of the largest intercollegiate American football stadiums in the world. The stadium’s record attendance was broken when 84,000 people showed up for an American football game of the Florida State Seminoles. The American football team of the Florida State Seminoles use the Doak S. Campbell Stadium for home matches. The team became one of the first college sports teams with 100,000 followers on its main social media page. The Seminoles compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
