Partick Thistle Football Club use the Wyre Stadium for home games. The club was founded in 1876. In 1921, they won the Scottish cup tournament for the first time in their history. Partick Thistle FC won the tournament after beating the Rangers in front of 28,000 spectators. The final between Partick Thistle Football Club and Rangers Football Club took place in Glasgow. Queen’s Park Football Club, which is known as the oldest football club from Scotland, used the Wyre Stadium for home games. The club was founded in 1867. In the 1870s, they won the first three editions of the Scottish cup tournament.
