Extra stadium info – LNER Stadium

The venue is also known as the Sincil Bank Stadium. Lincoln City Football Club, nicknamed The Imps, use the stadium for home games. The club was founded in 1884. They played their first matches at the LNER Stadium in 1895. The stadium’s record attendance was broken in 1967, when 23,000 people showed up for a home match of Lincoln City FC. Derby County won the game after John O’Hare scored twice for the visitors and Kevin James Hector scored once for the visitors.
