In 1986, the world famous British rock band Queen performed at the stadium with the rock legend who was known as Freddie Mercury. The former singer and songwriter who was known as Freddie Mercury was born as Farrokh Bulsara. He was born in 1946 on the African island of Zanzibar. The former artist lived on Zanzibar and in India before he moved to the United Kingdom. He died in 1991 at the age of 45.
