Volleyball Club Belgorie use the Belgorod Arena for home games. In 1997, they were crowned Russian volleyball champions for the first time in their history. Belgorie won the European championship for volleyball clubs in 2003 for the first time in their history. They won the title after winning a final in the Italian Republic, commonly known as Italy. In 2014, VC Belgorie were crowned world champions in volleyball for the first time in their history. They won their first world championship title in Brazil.
