Extra stadium info – Nokia Arena
In 2022, the first-ever game between two National Hockey League clubs took place at the Nokia Arena. The Columbus Blue Jackets won the ice hockey match against the Colorado Avalanche 6-3. 12,000 spectators showed up for the game. Ilves and Tappara use the Nokia Arena for home games. Both clubs were crowned Finnish ice hockey champions various times. In 2023, Tappara became the first ice hockey club from Tampere with a Champions Hockey League title.
