The construction of the football stadium started in 2021 and its construction costs were €65 million. The Raiffeisen Arena opened as one of the largest sports venues by capacity in Austria. LASK use the venue for home games. The club was founded in 1908. In 1965, LASK were crowned Austrian football champions for the first time in their history. The same year, they won the Austrian cup tournament for the first time in their history.
