The Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium is also used for athletics. Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club played numerous home games at the venue. They won the inaugural Saudi top-flight football league title in 1977. Al-Hilal became the first Saudi sports club with 10 million followers on its main social media page. Asian football champions
