The King Abdullah Sports City Stadium is also used for athletics. Al-Taawoun use the venue for home games. In 2019, they won the Saudi cup tournament for the first time in their history. Al-Taawoun won the game after beating Al-Ittihad in the city of Riyadh. Aleksandar Prijović scored the only goal for Al-Ittihad in the final.
