The stadium became one of the main sports venues in East Java. Persik use the venue for home games. It became the first sports club from Kediri with 100,000 followers on its main social media page. In 2003, Persik were crowned Indonesian football champions for the first time in their history. Three years later, they won their second Indonesian football championship title.
