The stadium is used by the national football team of Zimbabwe, also known as The Warriors. In 2004, they made their debut in the African championship for national football teams. The national football team of Zimbabwe lost their first African championship match against Egypt. They also lost their second African championship game. Zimbabwe faced Cameroon in that match. The third continental championship game for Zimbabwe ended in a victory for Zimbabwe. They defeated Algeria in that match. In 2004, Zimbabwe finished below Cameroon, Algeria and Egypt in the group stage of the African championship for national football teams.
CAPS United
Central African Pharmaceutical Society United Football Club use the venue for home games. The club was founded in 1973. In 1979, CAPS United were crowned Zimbabwean football champions of the first time in their history. In 1996, they were crowned football champions of Zimbabwe for the second time in their history. In the 2000s, CAPS United won two consecutive Zimbabwean top-flight football league titles for the first time in their history.
