Extra stadium info – Heroes National Stadium
The construction of the Heroes National Stadium, which has an athletics track, started in 2011. The inauguration of Zambia’s sixth president, Edgar Lungu, took place at the venue. Guy Lindsay Scott was the president of Zambia before Edgar Lungu became the president. The national football team of Zambia played numerous matches at the Heroes National Stadium.
