Extra stadium info – BK Arena
The arena was constructed by a Turkish contractor. It opened as one of the largest sports venues by capacity in the Republic of Rwanda. The venue is used for several events, like basketball, concerts, conferences, tennis and volleyball. The arena was named Kigali Arena before it became the BK Arena. APR BBC use the venue for home games. The club was founded in 1993. In 1995, they were crowned Rwandan basketball champions for the first time in their history. APR BBC won the top-flight basketball league of Rwanda nine consecutive times between 1995 and 2003. In 2005, they were crowned Rwandan basketball champions for the 10th time in their history.
