Stadium news #40
The Riyadh-based football clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr have plans to move to a new 40,000-capacity football stadium. The stadium plans are part of the Saudi Vision 2030 project. Saudi Arabia seeks to diversify its economy beyond the oil industry. Al-Hilal, one of the first Asian sports clubs with 10 million followers on its main social media page, played most of their home games at the 22,000-capacity Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium during this football season. Al-Nassr use the 25,000-capacity MRSOOL Park for home matches.
