The 2030 FIFA World Cup will probably take place on three continents. The first-ever edition of the quadrennial world championship for national football teams took place in Uruguay in 1930. In 2030, Uruguay will probably be one of the six nations where the FIFA World Cup will take place. The other five are the Argentine Republic, Morocco, Paraguay, the Portuguese Republic and Spain. The final of the prestigious tournament is expected to take place at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in the Spanish city of Madrid. The Spanish venue hosted a FIFA World Cup final in 1982. The national football team of the Italian Republic, commonly known as Italy, won the game in front of 90,000 spectators.
