The construction of the Mosaic Stadium started in 2014. It is known as a venue for several events, like Canadian football, concerts, football and ice hockey. The venue opened with a Canadian football match. The Regina Rams, the Regina Riot, the Regina Thunder and the Saskatchewan Roughriders use the Mosaic Stadium for home games. The Roughriders were crowned Grey Cup champions several times. They won their first-ever Grey Cup championship in 1966. The Roughriders won the title in Vancouver in front of 36,000 spectators.
